Athletic participation in the School City of Hobart serves as an integral part of a student’s educational experience. Good sportsmanship plays an important role in athletic competition and in the character development of the student-athlete. Therefore, we expect the coaches, players, parents, and fans to display respect, fairness, civility, and honestly. We encourage all spectators and fans to support their team and refrain from negative behaviors directed towards the opposing team and/or the officials and display behavior of which everyone can be proud.
