Principal - Mrs. Sara Gutierrez

My life is dedicated to the education of our youth as I have a love for children and a desire to make a positive impact in their lives and in the world. I live by Rita Pierson quote, “Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understand the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be.” I started my career as an elementary teacher in the School City of Hobart and received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University. I then went to Ball State University to receive my master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision.

I am very proud to be the Director of Early Learning and Education and the principal at the Early Learning Center at George Earle Elementary. It is an honor to be a part of the beginning of every student and family in the School City of Hobart’s educational journey. I was fortunate to be the administrator during the planning phase and opening of the Early Learning Center for the 2010-2011 school year.

The staff and I look forward to a wonderful school year and thank you in advance for your support. Together, we will make a positive difference in your child’s life. Let’s have a successful school year Growing Up Brickie Strong!
