www.hobart.k12.in.us/kindergartenWe follow Indiana law and School City of Hobart Board Policy.   Per Indiana law, a student must be at least five years of age on August 1 of the school year in order to participate in a kindergarten program at a school corporation.  School corporations may adopt an appeal procedure to request a “waiver” for early entrance for a student who is not at least five years of age on August 1.  The School City of Hobart has board policy and administrative guidelines in this regard.  It details the screening information gathered.  In addition to this, we will need the typical kindergarten registration information.  More information can be found at this website.  www.hobart.k12.in.us/kindergarten
