Before the Virtual Graduation Ceremony, join the School City of Hobart, City of Hobart, and Hobart Police Department in celebrating the Class of 2020 with a Senior Parade!

    1. When is the Senior Parade?
The Senior Parade is taking place on Sunday, May 31st.  Seniors will line up at County Line Orchard at 3:00pm.  Parade will begin at 4:00pm and finish around 5:15 pm - just in time to watch the Virtual Graduation at 6:00 pm at home with your family and loved ones.  .

    2. What is the Senior Parade route?
Brickies will head South from County Line Orchard to 10th Street.  Parade will proceed West down 10th Street past Hobart High School, where a BIG SURPRISE will be awaiting our graduates!  Parade will then turn North on Lincoln Street through downtown and West on Old Ridge Road, finishing at Festival Park.

    3. How do I sign up to participate in the Senior Parade?
Students will need to be logged into their School City of Hobart Google account (@ga.hobart.k12.in.us) to complete the form.  Once logged on, please visit www.hobart.k12.in.us/GradParade to sign up for the Senior Parade!

    4. Can I ride with my friends?
      No, ONE Senior per vehicle.

    5. Who can drive the vehicle?
HPD requests that a parent drive the vehicle so the Graduate can wave.  All must wear seatbelts.

    6. Can I throw candy?
No items may be thrown from the vehicles per HPD.

    7. Are there any vehicles that are prohibited?
Students may not ride in golf carts or in the bed of trucks or trailers.

    8. What should I wear?
Your caps and robes!  Be sure to take care of these - you will use them for your Live Graduation Ceremony, and they are expensive.

    9. How can I watch the Virtual Graduation after the Parade?
The Virtual Graduation link will be available HERE beginning at 5:30 pm on May 31st.  The page will NOT be available prior to this.
