Favorite part in the Island of the Blue Dolphins"

Doing a study on the animals mentioned
in the book. Each animal study should include: Habitat, Description
of the animal including scientific name and group classification,Characteristics
of the group, Food Sources, Enemies, and Interesting Facts.

A short picture book despicting the
main events in the book. This can also be an individual project by
dividing a piece of 18X12 construction paper into 8 squares or more.
Just keep folding the paper in half until the desired number of squares
is created. The first square might be "The Aluets come to the island
to hunt otter and have a parley with the chief." The last square
might be "Karana is rescued from the island after living alone for 18 years.
