Challenge School

Bobbie Hanley was born and raised in Gary, Indiana.  She received her bachelor degree in the Social Sciences from Purdue University, and her master degree in Education from Indiana University.

She has taught only for the School City of Hobart, this being her 25th year.  For the first fifteen years she was a freshman Social Studies teacher, beginning her teaching career at the old Junior High School, which has since been remodeled in the Middle School.  After moving to the high school, she team taught sophomore Gifted and Talented with Mrs. Jackie Rogers.

For the past ten years, Miss Hanley has been the coordinator/teacher of Hobart High School's Challenge School.
